BIOGRAPHY

A classically trained pianist since age 5, Kala Farnham began writing her own music when she was 12 years old. Since, Kala has written a large collection of piano/vocal music and has copyrighted 35 originals. Her song “Eight Months” was voted the number 2 Alternative song on the IAC Picks list by the Independent Artist Company, a website based in California and created to support independent artists. “Eight Months” also reached number 12 on on the KIAC Radio Alternative Chart.

More recently, Kala’s song “Beat” won the May, 2007 OurStage.com Electronic Music category award.
