Reed-Swale Folkfest

Friday, July 6th, 2007

This past Sunday I played a 30 minute set at the Reed-Swale Folkfest in Rocky Hill. The environment was so relaxed and comfortable; it was really nice to share my music with such wonderful people! The event was held outdoors and the weather was beautiful. I’m glad I was asked to participate in the festival and hope to do it again in the future.

John Harvard’s Brew House

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

Last night I came out to the John Harvard’s Brew House open mic hosted by Brian Jarvis. I performed Friends & Lovers, Colorblind (the Counting Crows), one of my newer songs yet to be recorded, and Something Like A Hero (Charlotte Martin). It was exciting to perform somewhere new - I’ve never played in the Hartford area before. In particular, I was very impressed with the sound system at John Harvard’s. I’ll be sure to come back in the future!

Victoria’s Station Open Mic

June 13, 2007
8:00 pmto11:00 pm

On Wednesday I performed at the Victoria’s Station open mic, playing two originals as well as “Concrete Angel” by Martina McBride. It was so nice to be back - being away at a South Carolina university for the past several months without a car, I wasn’t able to play out nearly as much. After performing and listening to many other talented musicians last night, I felt refreshed and newly inspired. Sharing music with other artists and an attentive audience is such a wonderful experience. :-) I’m hoping to perform this coming tuesday at John Harvard’s Brew House in Manchester, CT.

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to let you all know that I recently entered an online music competition hosted by Ourstage.com. I’ve entered several different songs in the Indie/Alternative, Pop, Electronic, Experimental, Acoustic, Rock, and Jazz & Blues catagories. My song “Beat” is currently #1 in the Electronic Catagory! “Distortions” is also doing well in the Experimental catagory, currently ranked #12. Feel free to take the time to vote for my music before the end of the month to keep “Beat” and “Distortions” at the top. It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
